1. Identify the drive and existing report

A screenshot headed health or life can be incomplete evidence when the drive and underlying attribute are not identified. Retain the exact model, available serial reference and capture date from the existing report. Keep the original attribute wording with its recorded value. This review concerns information already available; it does not request a new diagnostic session, drive connection or change to the stored data.

Distinguish a report for an individual SSD from a family-level product description. The former can document what was reported for identified hardware at a particular capture, while the latter explains terminology or capability. A folder containing several reports needs those associations preserved. A readable model name alone should not cause one drive's captured attribute to be copied across all units of that model in an inventory list.

Where only a cropped display or transcribed percentage is available, state what context is missing. The original field could concern usage, a remaining-life display or another tool-specific presentation. Do not choose its meaning from the percentage symbol alone. Preserve the incomplete record as such and ask whether the original attribute and device association can be established before presenting a wear description for review.

2. Preserve vendor-specific attribute meaning

Kingston's SMART Attribute Details describes Percentage Used as an estimate of NVM subsystem life used, based on actual usage and the manufacturer's prediction. The wording identifies both the direction of the description, life used, and the estimated character of the value. Retain those qualifications rather than replacing the field name with an unexplained remaining-life claim in the offer.

The estimate is not a calendar countdown. A captured wear attribute does not provide a guaranteed number of future days or years, and this guide performs no subtraction or life calculation. Keep any acquisition date or known period of use in a separate history record. Elapsed ownership time and an attribute based on usage and a prediction are different descriptions; one should not silently redefine the other.

Keep the applicable vendor and document context with the interpretation. An attribute name or display used for one product should not be assigned to another model or tool without supporting information. If the available report uses a different convention, retain that original wording and leave its interpretation open. The goal is faithful reporting of an existing estimate, rather than normalising every SSD into an invented universal wear score.

3. Separate estimate from acceptance and failure

A wear estimate is not a complete pass result for the drive. It does not, by itself, show that all other health parameters were examined or that a buyer's criteria have been met. Keep any separate findings with their actual names and scope. An enquiry should distinguish the available attribute report from an inspection decision, instead of compressing both into an unsupported tested and good description.

The Kingston wording also keeps consumed estimated endurance distinct from a failure conclusion. This guide uses that distinction qualitatively and supplies no threshold or interpretation of a particular numerical result. A seller should not infer immediate failure, continued service or an approved remaining interval from a single wear field. Any actual acceptance decision needs its own stated criteria and evidence for the relevant devices.

Warranty questions and commercial eligibility also remain separate from the attribute. A report does not establish either simply because a percentage appears favourable. Preserve a recipient's actual requirements without turning the manufacturer's general explanation into a promise about resale value or future operation. No warranty interpretation, remaining-life guarantee or completed SSD assessment is offered by this article.

4. Submit reports with their actual scope

For a group of released SSDs, show which devices have an existing report and which do not. Retain the capture context and the attribute meaning for the covered units. A missing serial association, missing date or unclear display label is a specific evidence gap. It should remain visible rather than being filled from the newest-looking screenshot or the average description of the group.

Keep data-state information separate from wear reporting. An existing usage estimate is not an erased-data record or permission to share a drive's contents. The general memory guide covers that broader disclosure question. For an ICULTRA SSD enquiry, submit the permitted device-linked reports and explain their limits. Any assessment, accepted quantities and purchase terms must be confirmed for the actual material, without a lifetime or complete-health promise.

Kingston’s bounded Percentage Used wording supports the estimate distinction. No numerical threshold, diagnostic or erasure command, warranty determination, calendar-life calculation or actual drive result is supplied.
